Payne was born in Seattle in
1977.
He left America in 1999 and currently
lives in Paris. Payne is the
author
of four novels: "Rooftop
Soliloquy" (2009), "Hope

(2006), and
"Crepuscule"
(2004). He
is also an accomplished poet
and short story writer. His
long
poem "The
Basement Trains" was
published in Paris in the summer
of 2006 in a bilingual French/English
