What ModeRoom considers for publication:
ModeRoom publishes literary fiction novels of exceptional quality, as well as intelligent, compelling non-fiction. We do not publish poetry or short story collections except from previously published novelists. ModeRoom does not publish genre books or commercial novels whose value rests more on mass-appeal than on artistic merit. Many consider ModeRoom to be an avant-garde press. We merely consider ourselves to be a literary salon and boutique press at the apex of literary-merit and style. We feel that we publish some of the greatest books of the 21st century.
